Below are the pictures from my Mohs Surgery for Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP) Skin Cancer.
Only 21 people out of 5 Million get this type of cancer. Of those 21, 2 die, and countless others continue having non-metastasizing cases of continued cancer. Chemotherapy does not work on DFSP. Only radiation and excisions are recommended.
These pictures are of a closed wound approximately 6-8 inches across. It took 20+ staples and over 6 cross-mattress stitches to close the wound after the surgery.
